How often should I have my chimney cleaned? The NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) recommends you have your furnace chimney inspected annually & swept as needed. We recommend about every 40-60 burns for the fireplace. We recommend at least once a year for the furnace chimney.

What does the cleaning entail? We are gonna go up on the roof and sweep everything down the lining with a big brush into a high powered vacuum. With every sweep we preform a level 1 inspection to ensure the system is safe and operating correctly

How long does a cleaning take? The whole process takes usually anywhere between 30 mins to an hour depending on the application.

I have a contract with my furnace company, do they clean my chimney? NO. This is a common misconception that the furnace company, plumber, etc services your chimney. They DO NOT. the furnace room is there profession and the chimney is ours.

What is a level 1 inspection? A level one inspection is a basic visual inspection where we take a look at all the parts of the system that are readily available.

What is a level 2 inspection? A level 1 inspection with a video inspection as well.

What is a level 3 inspection? All parts of a level 1 and 2 inspection included and we would open up the chimney using jackhammers or other power tools to access parts of the system we typical would not have access to

Are you licensed & insured ? There is no home improvement license in this part of New York. We are fully insured, and all of our technicians a Certified Chimney Technicians by the CCP and always carry their badges to every job site.

What methods of payment do you take? Cash, Checks, Credit Cards.
